5 Hot Chocolate Topping Ideas

I love hot chocolates, they're perfect to keep you warm in Autumn and Winter and are so Christmassy too! One thing I like to do is experiment a bit with different toppings so I thought I'd share some topping ideas!

The Flake Hot Chocolate
So once you've made your hot chocolate grab some cream and add it to the top, take a small flake, ones for ice creams are ideal or you could just literally break one in half stick that in the top like you would with an ice cream and crumble some more flake on top of the cream.

The Mickey Mouse Hot Chocolate
I couldn't not do a Disney-related one could I? So once you've made your add chocolate and added some cream get two Oreos and place them either side of your cream too look like two ears, cute! You could just leave it like that or add some crushed Oreo and marshmallows too!

The Milky Bar Hot Chocolate
This one you can see in the picture above. I added cream to my hot chocolate then used 1 stick from a Milky Bar Crisp (they're yummy) popped that into the cream then added some milky stars - and it tasted SO good, insert heart eye emoji here.

The Smarties Hot Chocolate
For a colourful hot chocolate, again add your cream then add some smarties on top, yum!

The Sprinkles Hot Chocolate
For this one you simply add some sprinkles whichever sprinkles you have they could be shaped ones hundreds and thousands any you like then add some chocolate chips and you're finished!

What are your favourite hot chocolate toppings?

Yesssss! I'm hoping it's back out permanently now and not on a limited edition basis because I love love love this nail polish. It's in the shade Holographic Hero, it's really opaque and only takes two coats for it too fully cover the nails, the finish of this nail polish is so so pretty. It's a perfect for the festive season and I know I'm going to be wearing this nail polish constantly now.

Please Gosh keep this nail polish permanently!

Rimmel Oh My Gloss Lip Glosses

Rimmel Lip Gloss Review, Rimmel Rita Ora Oh My Gloss Lip Glosses, Oh My Gloss

When the Rimmel Oh My Gloss Lip Glosses were first released I really wanted to get some to try out I've become such a lip gloss girl lately I just find them so easy to apply quickly especially if you're in a rush. I'm really glad I purchased these I got the more nude / pinky shades as I'm loving a nude and pink lip. I bought the shades Glossip Girl, Purr..Glossy Cat, Glossaholic and Keep a Secret I really love the names and yes they did influence me when purchasing them ooops! The packaging itself is really nice it's got an unusual bottle shape almost a triangle sort of shape that you can see the shade through, very unique and has a classic black lid with the brush applicator attached.

Rimmel Lip Gloss Review, Rimmel Rita Ora Oh My Gloss Lip Glosses, Oh My Gloss

Glossip Girl - I love the Gossip Girl name, this is a really pretty pale coral shade that has glitter in.

Purr..Glossy Cat - One for all the cat lovers, this is a really nice brown/pinky toned nude lip gloss with speckles of glitter in, I really like this one and it's definitely my most worn out of all of them, it's just a super easy shade to wear and a great nude lip gloss.

Glossaholic - Is the only one I picked up without any glitter in, it's a bubblegum pink kind of pink shade, really nice and wearable.

Keep A Secret - Is a Coral and Pinky toned lip gloss shade, with speckles of glitter in also.

Rimmel Lip Gloss Review, Rimmel Rita Ora Oh My Gloss Lip Glosses, Oh My Gloss, Rimmel Oh My Gloss Lip Gloss Swatches, Oh My Gloss Lip Gloss Swatches

These lip glosses are really well pigmented and the brush applicator is really soft and applies to gloss easily and smoothly. The formula of the lip gloss contains both Vitamin E and Argan oil and I do find them moisturising and hydrating. They claim to last for 6 hours but during eating or drinking they do wear off so I say the staying power is between 3-6 hours. These have a really glossy finish and have a nice scent to them (always a nice thing). I do find these lightweight and not sticky in the slightest so they're really nice lip glosses and I'm glad I purchased these.

November Favourites

Monthly Favourites, MAC Creme Cup, Tanya Burr Hollywood Palette, Barry M Nail Polish, Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara

It's officially December! Happy Christmas Month to you all! I'm so excited about Christmas now! But it's November favourites time and I've got a few beauty favourites to share with you.

First is a mascara I definitely go in stages when it comes to mascara I either love it or hate it, but I have been really liking the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara, I find it separates my lashes really really nicely and the brush applicator reaches my lashes easily and applies the mascara really well.

The next favourite of mine is one of Tanya Burrs new eyeshadow Palettes, which is the Hollywood palette, the shades are all well pigmented and super pretty this has definitely been my go to palette for November, got a lot of love for this one.

I've recently discovered this beauty of a lipstick again which is MAC's Creme Cup lipstick it's a really pretty almost baby pink kind of shade and I really like it, great for everyday wear.

Finally my last favourite is pretty festive, there's something about glitter nail polishes at Christmas time. This Blue Glittery nail polish from Barry M is super pretty, It applies really nicely and I use it as a glitter top coat it gives a really nice glittery effect and I love it!

Who remembers Lucky Dips? Where you used to spend around 50p and dip your hand in a basket and pick out a packet full of bits of pieces or the gift ones you can buy in stores for a £1, there was just something special and exciting of not knowing what was inside. The Treatboxes by Not Shabby Very Chic is a subscription service where you get a box of different goodies every month aimed to be delivered on the first week of the month that you have no idea what will be inside, it's a complete surprise, a lucky dip for adults, fun! What I like about this is you don't have to have a subscription if you don't want too you have the option to just purchase a single months box or even purchase one for a friend so if you're stuck on what to send someone for Christmas I think this would be such a cute special surprise for them, Not Very Shabby Chic even allows you to add some notes to your order and they may even add a gift tag for you from you, to whoever you're sending it too, what a cute idea!

I was lucky enough to be sent the November Treatbox* and I couldn't wait to see what was inside! What I like about the packaging is the box is slim enough to fit into most letter boxes so you don't have to wait in for a delivery we all know how annoying that gets! However I am one of the ones where it didn't fit through my mine haha!

Once I opened the cardboard box there was a lovely Quote Card (I loved this I might even frame it) a message card from Not Shabby Very Chic and the contents wrapped in black tissue paper with a pink ribbon.

Included in the box:
• A really cute hand warmer which is ideal for this Autumnal weather, it's in a really cute mini water bottle cover so it looks like a mini water bottle so adorable plus it's reusable!

• Also in the box was a Cadburys hot chocolate sachet, yum! I will definitely be using this. Hot chocolates in the Autumn are a must!

• Two pink star chocolates - so girly and cute and I loved the baby gold glitter Pegs on the top too (stationary lover right here)

• Speaking of stationary there was an A5 blue striped notebook included which is ideal for making Christmas present lists for everyone to keep organised!

• Pumpkin Pie Wax Melt so perfect for this time of year and the scent is super super strong! The scent itself isn't my cup of tea personally but I love that it's related to this time of year.

• Happy Girls are The Prettiest Girls handheld mirror - the perfect compact size for a handbag and it will be a great addition to my make up bag I love anything with a cute positive quote/message on.

• 4 Notelet Envelopes these are the cutest things as I said I love stationary and I haven't seen these before they're little envelopes that you can write a little message to someone, I think these are ideal to write someone a little sweet message to make them smile, I really like these, the design on the front is equally as lovely too.

All these items are very usuable and for £12.95 with free delivery this is such good value for money! I really like that the products are well thought out with products suited to this time of the year and a lot of effort has been put into this with products and the packaging also. I feel that the Treatbox would be suitable for an array of females, I do think that this is aimed slightly towards more of girly girls (cough me cough) because it's a really cute box with cute girly bits and pieces. I think this would be ideal if you were stuck on what to get someone for a Birthday/Christmas present or even just to make them smile and wanted to send them a surprise, I really like this box and would definitely recommend it, I can't fault it at all, if you want to learn a bit more about the Treatbox you can here.

Skinny Dip, Unicorn Phone Case, Unicorn Phone Cases, Skinny Dip Review, Skinny Dip Phone Cases Review

If you've saw a few of my blog posts you may know that I have a little bit of an obsession with unicorns and Skinny Dip are definitely fueling my obsession with their cute phone cases. I have two from them and yes both have unicorns on..oops, but they have a huge range of different cases and now have unique accessories on there too. The cases themselves really well made and really good quality, I've had mine for ages and they've got a few scratches on but nothing major and these are probably only because I've dropped it a few times, clumsy alert! I love these style of cases they're basically transparent so you can see the back of your phone through them, it almost looks like you just have unicorns on the back of your phone I really love them! So if you're on the lookout for a unique phone case to suit you definitely have a look at the Skinny Dip website.

My New Obsession | Annie Haak Jewellery

Annie Haak, Personalised Jewellery, Dainty Jewellery, Gift Ideas, Annie Haak Designs

Annie Haak have just unveiled their brand new A/W Range, The Bliss Collection. The new collection is full of amazing jewellery pieces using genuine Swarovski crystals and Japanese Glass Beads to create the ultimate A/W collection. I was lucky enough to be sent some pieces to show you and they're amazing! Eeep!

But before I tell you about the jewellery pieces I've got to mention the pretty packaging, as I am definitely a sucker for pretty packaging. The jewellery arrived in a pretty purple gift box and inside the jewellery pieces were in a cute re-usable drawstring pouch which you can use all the time to keep your jewellery pieces in.

Annie Haak, Personalised Jewellery, Dainty Jewellery, Gift Ideas, Annie Haak Designs, Annie Haak Friendship Bracelet, Annie Haak Necklace, Annie Haak Charm Bracelet

I love how cute and dainty these jewellery pieces are and if you're a fan of dainty pieces, you'll love these too.

Annie Haak, Personalised Jewellery, Dainty Jewellery, Gift Ideas, Annie Haak Designs, Annie Haak Charm Bracelet

The Sateenie Silver Charm Bracelet is a super pretty charm bracelet on a small beaded elasticated band where you can choose 1 of 11 sterling silver charms or  to choose from or you could opt for an initial charm, literally so much choice! I opted for the 4 heart clover charm so I could wear it as a lucky charm bracelet, I just thought it was a super cute charm. With the Sateenie Bracelets you can either decide to wear these bracelets on their own or because they're dainty you can collect the charm bracelets with your favourite charms on and stack them altogether. What I really like about this bracelet is that even though it's elasticated it doesn't feel like it's going to snap every time you put it on and take it off. It's also super lightweight, sometimes charm bracelets can be quite heavy but this isn't at all.

Annie Haak, Personalised Jewellery, Dainty Jewellery, Gift Ideas, Annie Haak Designs, Annie Haak Necklace

The Itsy Bitsy Initial Necklace is another cute piece that lives up to it's Itsy Bitsy name which I Love, it's a sterling silver necklace with a tiny - it's not a super tiny -  Sterling silver initial charm. I love personalised jewellery pieces and you can't go wrong with an initial necklace.

Annie Haak, Personalised Jewellery, Dainty Jewellery, Gift Ideas, Annie Haak Designs, Annie Haak Friendship Bracelet

I love anything with a cute quote or positive message on so the Mantra Bar Friendship bracelet was right up my street. You can pick from a choice of 3 mottos. Laughter, Love, Life, Follow Your Dreams and Love You To The Moon And Back with a choice of 6 colours bands to choose from so you really can personalise this one to your own taste. I chose the hot pink colour (Of course I did)  and the motto Follow Your Dreams, it's such a pretty bracelet and I love the font the motto is in too. The Bracelet itself is easily adjustable so you can adjust it to suit you. I love everything about this bracelet, LOVE it.

Annie Haak, Personalised Jewellery, Dainty Jewellery, Gift Ideas, Annie Haak Designs, Annie Haak Friendship Bracelet, Annie Haak Necklace, Annie Haak Charm Bracelet

I have so much love for all three of these special jewellery pieces and have been constantly wearing them all the time, they're beautifully made and would make ideal Gifts (It's not too early to shop for Christmas presents right?) and ideal if you're on the lookout to treat yourself to a special jewellery piece definitely check out the new Annie Haak collection. These pieces have definitely started me on a dainty jewellery obsession they're just so cute!

What are your thoughts on the jewellery pieces? Have you bought anything from Annie Haak before?

Recently Watched | TV and Film

So I've been a bit of a TV and Film binge-watcher recently, you know what it's like you watch the first episode of a show and love it and then a few hours later you're now on episode 10..yeah that kind of thing so I thought I'd share with you the movies and TV shows I have been loving.

Revenge - I've watched this show from start to finish it's such a great gripping show with lots of twists and turns to keep you watching and shouting NO WAY at your TV screen, if you haven't given this a go yet I'd definitely recommend it.

Harry Potter - Yep these are movie classics aren't they? And are still just as popular now as they were when they first came out I've been loving watching the Harry Potter movies recently, which Harry Potter House would you want to be in?

Desperate Housewives - Another great show discovery, full of the happenings in Wisteria Lane based around a group of friends it's such a gripping show again like Revenge I found myself gasping in shock or shouting no way at the TV screen tonnes of times and this show definitely just makes you want to watch more and more episodes, 5 in a row even..

Frozen - I'm a Disney girl and I love Disney movies! You can't go wrong with watching Frozen I love this movie it's so so good and a great movie for all ages (including big kids..cough me cough..) it'll have you singing along that's for sure..anyone want to build a snowman?

So that's my TV and Movie recommendations for you, what have you been watching recently?

Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette Swatches, Collection All About The Eyes Eyeshadow Palette, Litte Mix Eyeshadow Palette Review, Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette

It took me a while to purchase this amazing little palette but after hearing so many people talk about it I finally purchased the Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette. It's packaging is like all other Collection palettes in the cardboard packaging which is sturdy and simple. The palette contains 6 shades from golden shades to nudes and brown shades the shades are (L-R) Feather, Sunkissed, Golden Sand, Dazzling Brown, Cocoa Dream and Blackbird all are shimmer eyeshadows except for Blackbird which is a matte shade. The amount of shimmer in each eyeshadow differs from a light shimmer to a heavy shimmer which Golden Sand definitely is, it's super glittery that I use it to apply glitter over a matte eyeshadow sometimes to add a bit of sparkle. However because it's so glittery I do find that the speckles of glitter sometimes fall out from the eyeshadow and separates which falls down all over my face so I looked along the lines of Edward Cullen in the Sunlight haha!

Each eyeshadow is really well pigmented and blends super easily. I really like this eyeshadow palette it costs only £3.19 which is a bargain for such a great palette, this has been my go-to palette that I instantly reach for all the time and I'm sure I'll be repurchasing this when I've used it all up.

Mua Limited Edition Palette Review, Mua Palette Review, Mua Palette, Mua 5th Birthday Palette Review, Mua 5th Birthday Palette

This beautiful eyeshadow palette is a Limited Edition Palette to celebrate MUA's 5th Birthday. I am personally a big fan of MUA products especially their palettes and single eyeshadows for such good prices the quality of the eyeshadows are amazing. This limited Edition palette has 12 different shades some super shimmery shades and some matte. As it's a special Birthday palette the number 5 is also embedded on some of the shades too which is a really cute touch. My personal favourites are the shimmery shades (I love glitter) they are beautiful and have a sort of metallic finish. The eyeshadows are well pigmented and blend really easily.

As its limited Edition you can either get it free (which is what I did) if you spend over £8 on MUA products on Superdrug or purchase it separately for £4, if you can get your hands on this palette I'd definitely reccomend it. I'm hoping MUA will soon bring out a palette full of shimmery shades, I'd definitely purchase that one. Another great palette from MUA!

Happy Birthday MUA!

Beauty Haul

Beauty Shop, Lastest Beauty Purchases

When collection announced they would be bringing out 3 brand new palettes: the Nude Bronze, Nude Grey and Nude palettes that all have nude and bronze based shades I couldn't wait to get them and spotted them on a 3 for 2 which is an absolute bargain I can't wait to try these out. I already have the Little Mix All About The Eyes palette and use it daily so excited to give these a try.

I was starting to notice that my foundations I had seemed slightly darker than my skin tone so I re-purchased these two, the Rimmel Lasting Perfection and the Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude foundations in the lighter shades hopefully they match a lot better now!

I really like the look of using eyeliners to define the eyes so I purchased this MUA one to give it a try as it was only a £1 and has a sharpener attached the lid as well! Eyeliners tricky though huh?

I'd wanted this Kate Moss 03 Lipstick after seeing Gabby/Velvet Gh0st use it recently in a tutorial I think. It's a lovely brown nude shade and I'm loving wearing a nude lip recently so this is ideal. Plus the Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks are amazing! I already have my eye on some more ooops!

Highlighter, Bronzers and Blushers are products I want to start using on a daily basis for an everyday look. I'm a complete newbie when it comes to contour but hopefully I can get to grips with it eventually, practice makes perfect right? So I purchased the MUA Shimmer Kisses Blush, now the packaging stood out for me straight away and the blush shades looked so pretty so I had to get it that to try. Also another MUA product I picked up was the gold highlighter, it costs only £3 and seems to be a popular highlighter choice with a lot of people it looks beautiful! I picked Collections Bronze Glow to try out as well.

A palette I've had my eye on for a while was the MUA Heaven and Earth palette, again it's full of neutral and bronze shades and I love it! I love the MUA palettes they're great value for money as you get about 12 eyeshadow shades for £4 big fan of their palettes!

So that's all the new bits and pieces I've been buying recently and can't wait to try out! What make up products have you been loving?

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balms, Maybelline Lip Balm, Maybelline Baby Lips, Maybelline Baby Lips Collection, Baby Lips Lip Balm Collection, Maybelline Baby Lips Swatches

How pretty do these look altogether, definitely a beauty bloggers version of Pokemon Cards haha! These lip balms are all the ones from the original Baby Lips range I think there's two more ranges out now the Dr Rescue which I haven't got any of..yet and the Electro ranges which I have a few. These lip balms each have their own individual shade that some leave a tint to your lips and others are clear as we'll as each of them having a different scent some stronger than others but all keeping your lips nice and hydrated.

Blue - The Blue Baby Lips is called Hydrate and it's a clear lip balm that has a really nice Lemon scent which I love, it's a great one to use to moisturise your lips before adding a lip gloss or a lipstick.

Purple - Peach Kiss is a brown nude shade that has glitter speckles in, I didn't find this one had much of a scent to it if any but leaves a nice nude tint to your lips with a touch of sparkle from the glitter. I would've loved this one to smell of peach though!

Pink - Pink Punch is definitely the favourite for me I used it all the time last Summer. Pink Punch smells of strawberries it's such a nice scent and leaves a light baby pink tint on your lips.

Orange - Cherry Me as you would expect smells of cherries and leaves a subtle red tint to your lips, this also has speckles of glitter in too.

Yellow - Repair is a clear lip balm so ideal like the Hydrate one to use before applying a lip gloss or a lipstick to keep them nice and hydrated this one however doesn't have a scent like the Blue one.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balms, Maybelline Lip Balm, Maybelline Baby Lips, Maybelline Baby Lips Collection, Baby Lips Lip Balm Collection

All of these are really moisturising and are perfect for keeping in your handbag to keep those lips well moisturised and hydrated. The packaging also gets a big thumbs up from me the bright colours really stand out and look so bright and cheery. As you can probably tell I'm a big fan of these. Each lip balm costs £2.99 but I think the Dr Rescue ones are slightly more expensive, Which baby lips lip balm is your Favourite? Let me know in the comments below!
