2017 Beauty Discoveries

Beauty Discoveries

The Tanya Burr Lip balms have become a firm favourite of mine, I'm so glad she added lip balms to her range of cosmetics.

I'm a bit behind with this one but the Soap and Glory Clean On Me shower gel is so nice, it smells incredible. I definitely get the buzz around Soap and Glory shower products now!

Over to Essence now with their False Lash Effect Princess Mascara* it costs just around £3 from Wilkinsons for a full-sized mascara. For the price it's a complete bargain and just as good as any drugstore mascara to be honest.

If you suffer with dry skin the Garnier Moisture Bomb Night Cream is well worth a try. It's a gel based cream that is instantly hydrating it feels like your washing your face with water when its applied, so hydrating and moisturising and works through the night leaving your skin feeling hydrated and plumped by the morning.

Nivea Pearls Oil Infused Shower Cream and Oil Pearls* is best described as if Mermaids used a shower gel it would be this one, I loved it from the first use, I'm running out of this one now really need to get another.

Another mascara is the Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara which has become my favourite go to mascara, I love the effect it gives my lashes. This mascara has an unusual mascara brush that I've never seen before but I love it and find it covers the lashes, separates nicely and is really easy to use.

Make Up Obsession is a fairly new brand to Boots that have really good prices. Their highlighters are beyond pigmented, so a little goes a long way, leaving a lovely healthy looking glow.

December Favourites

For the first Beauty favourite, it's a lip balm. The Blackberry Coulis Lip Balm from Tanya Burr Cosmetics has been my go to recently. I love the little tin packaging, ideal size for keeping in handbags and not so small that you'd find yourself searching around for ages. The Blackberry Coulis Lip Balm is a tinted one and leaves a lovely pigmented berry tone on your lips, it's so pigmented it could easily be a glossy lipstick. I love the berry tint and it keeps my lips hydrated and moisturised, a win win for the Winter.

Essence False Lash Effect Princess Mascara

There has been an incredible buzz surrounding this little treat of a mascara, which is the Essence False Lash Effect Princess Mascara* so I was excited to try it out.

The packaging is lovely, it’s based around a Princess style evening dress, it’s so cute! The fibre brush clings to the lashes coating them easily with mascara really well. It’s not too clumpy, lengthens the lashes really nicely and definitely gives that false lash effect without a doubt! I really like this mascara by Essence, it only costs £3.30 which is a complete bargain and you can get it from Wilko, it costs less than half price of a typical drugstore mascara but in my opinion is equally as good!

I really recommend giving this a try!
